Bidar: Former MLA from Bidar South Constituency Ashok Kheny participated in the inauguration ceremony of Vishwaguru Basaveshwara statue at Rajgira Village in Bidar South Constituency and unveiled the statue with his hand.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Kheny said, “Basavanna was a philosopher of the 12th Century and as a social reformer, and as a Shiva-centric Kannada poet, who created social awareness through vachanas, he wanted to give the blessings of all living beings, he said.
He expressed his happiness for inaugurating the great social reformer’s statue Basavanna.
