Bidar: Bidar Urban Development Authority (BUDA) Chairman Babu Wali inaugurated the procession organised as part of Basava Utsava – 2023 on Saturday March 11.
The procession, which took place from Basaveshwara Temple in Basavakalyana to Thera Maidana, was held in a grand manner with various art troupes including Dollu Kunitha, Veerabhadra Kunitha, Somana Kunitha, Pooja Kunitha, Patta Kunitha, Halagi Kunitha, Kolata and others. The procession left the onlookers awestruck.
Basavakalyan MLA Sharanu Salagara, Basavakalyan Municipal Council President Shahnaz Tanvir Shaikh, Bidar Deputy Commissioner Govinda Reddy, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Shilpa M., District Superintendent of Police Channabasavanna S.L., Basavakalyan Assistant Commissioner Ramesh Kolar, Veterinary Officer Gautama Arali, Bidar Urban Development Authority Commissioner Abhay Kumar, Basavakalyan Tahasildar Shantagowda Biradar, Hulasur Tahasildar Shivanand Metre and many seers, various State and District-level art troupes were among those who took part in the procession.
