Bidar: Minister Prabhu B. Chavan said that we all have to follow the ideals and thoughts of Vishwaguru Basavanna for social reform.
On the occasion of Basava Jayanti, he spoke at the office of Bharatiya Janata Party in Aurad (B) Town on Sunday April 23, paying homage and flowers to the portrait of Basavanna. “Basavanna is foremost among the philosophers who preached the message of equality to the world. He said that he had fought to build a better society by eliminating social problems like inequality, gender discrimination and superstition which had become fatal to the prosperity of the society. The message of the 12th century orator has to be delivered door-to-door. Parents said that they should work to teach their children the principles of life of Basavadi Sharan, he said.
