KKRDB corruption, Vadde demands CBI probe

Bidar: Social worker Gurunath Vadde has demanded a thorough probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the corruption in Kalaburagi and has submitted a memorandum in this regard to the President, Governor, Prime Minister and Home Minister to the Government of India through the Deputy Commissioner of Bidar. He has sought a CBI probe.

There is widespread corruption in the announcement of tenders and issuance of tenders from the preparation. The Government has done injustice by not providing as much funds as announced by the Government. The board has indulged in corruption by not spending the funds given. Delay in board works, poor work, tender scam, discrimination in allocation of funds, violation of rules of law in holding board meetings, non-audit, he alleged.

Non-adherence to the report, sanction of unnecessary unscientific works, injustice, corruption and irregularities are taking place at all levels. It is failing the purpose of setting up the board, said Gurunath Vadde and demanded a thorough probe into the alleged corruption of Kalyana Karnataka Rural Development Board from 2013-14 to 2022-23 to the CBI.
