Bidar: Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Union Minister Narayan Rane who arrived in the District for election campaign visited various villages of Aurad (B) constituency on Wednesday April 26 and canvassed heavily in favour of BJP Candidate Minister Prabhu B. Chavan.
He traveled to various places including Santapura, Hedagapura, Rakshyala, Thanakushanur and offered garlands to statues of stalwarts. Later he visited the temples and religious gurus in the villages and had darshan.
He visited Shambhuli Ageshwara Matga in Hedagapura Village and went to Swami Vivekananda Ashram in Rakshaöyala (K) village and visited Pujya Shivlinga Shivacharya and got blessings from Pujya Murulidhara Maharaja. At Santapura Thanakushanur, Mudhola and Dabakana, he paid homage to the statues of Basaveshwara, Shivaji Maharaj, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Bommagondeshwar and other dignitaries by offering prayers and garlands.
