Bidar: On June 20 Minister for Hajj and Municipal Administration Rahim Khan on Monday launched the newly installed decorative street lights near Ambedkar Circle of Bidar city under the City Corporation’s 15 Finance Scheme.
On the occasion, the Minister said that 46 street lights have been installed from Ambedkar Circle to Shivaji Circle in Bidar and from Basaveshwara Circle to Haralaiah Circle under Nagarothana Scheme at a cost of Rs.80.86 lakh and similarly 21 decorative street lights have been installed from Girl Child Circle to Shivanagar Signal under 15 Finance Scheme at a cost of Rs.32 lakh by Bidar Municipal Corporation.
With the installation of these street lights, the city of Bidar will be illuminated at night. Shivanand K Patil, a contractor, was entrusted with the task of installing these street lights. He also added that in the coming days, the aim is to formulate more schemes for the benefit of Bidar district under the municipal corporation.
In the coming days, the municipal corporation will do a good job for the people of the district. And would make sincere efforts to resolve any kind of trouble caused to the people of Bidar by the municipal corporation if it is brought to my notice.
Motilal Lamani, Project Director, Bidar Urban Development Cell, Arun, Assistant Executive Engineer, Urban Development Cell, Shivaraj Rathod, Commissioner, Bidar Municipal Corporation, Anil Chalua, Manager, City Municipal Corporation and others were present at the moment.
