Bidar: Former Minister, Deputy Leader of JD (S) Legislature Party, Chairman of JD (S) Core Committee and MLA of Bidar South Assembly Constituency Bandeppa Kashempura remembered Siddeshwara Swamiji of Jnanayogaashrama in Vijayapura, who recently became lingaikya.

Speaking on the condolence resolution moved by Speaker Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri on the first day of the Budget Session at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Friday February 10, he expressed his condolences to the departed dignitaries and recalled the speech given by Siddeshwara Swamiji in Bidar when he was a minister for the first time in 2006.

He said, “words are not enough to explain about Siddheshwar Sri. In such an era, seer gave importance to simplicity and punctuality. In 2006, when I was a minister for the first time, there was a month-long lecture in Bidar. The lecture started at 6.00 am every day at the BVB College campus in the City. He would start his discourse at the right time. MLA Bandeppa Kashempura recalled the old days when 10,000 to 15,000 people used to gather every day to listen to swamiji’s discourse.

“Sri has not left us. Don’t offer condolences to them. He is with us. His discourses, philosophies, ideas and guidance will always be with our people. It takes us on the right track. We have a feeling that he, who was born in Kannada Nadu will be immortal,” said MLA Bandeppa Kashempura.

At the same time, the MLAs offered peace to the departed dignitaries and thousands of people who have lost their lives in the continuous earthquakes that have been occurring abroad for the last four to five days.
