Bidar: Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chavan has expressed happiness over Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributing the Title Deeds declaring Taanda and Hamlets as Revenue villzages at Malkhed Village in Sedam Taluk of Kalaburagi District.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “Even after seven decades of independence, many of the houses of the Banjara community still do not have any documents. As a result, they were deprived of many Government facilities. I had requested the Chief Minister several times in this regard.”
When Revenue Minister R. Ashok came to Aurad Taluk for a village stay, I took him to Taanda and apprised him of the problems faced by the people there. As a result, the Government has taken up the historic work of declaring Taanda and Hatti as Revenue Villages so that these people can lead a dignified life,” he added.
Further he said “Title deeds are being distributed to 51,900 beneficiaries in our area. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa and Revenue Minister R. Ashok on behalf of the whole community for implementing the scheme, which will light up the lives of people who were deprived of Government facilities.”
