Police seize government-distributed milk powder in Bidar

Bidar: The Mannaekheli police confiscated government-distributed milk powder valued at over Rs 50,000 as part of the “Ksheera Bhagya” program.

Under the guidance of a respected senior officer, a raid was conducted in Mannaekheli. The purpose was to address the unauthorized storage of creamy milk powder provided free of cost through the “Ksheera Bhagya” initiative, which aims to provide nutritious food to school and Anganwadi children as part of the government’s objectives.

During the operation, PSI Sri Basavaraj, along with his team, which included Sri Shivaraja, Hanumantha, and Sri Sanjeev Kumar, and with the assistance of Akshara Dasoha Programme’s Assistant Director from Humanabad, seized a total of 170 milk powder packets valued at Rs. 51,000. A case has been filed in this regard.
