Kalaburagi: Sounding the poll bugle from Gulbarga, All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge announced the Congress’ 10 point charter for the Kalyana Karnataka region.
During a massive show of strength at Kalaburagi where over 2 lakh people participated, the AICC Chief promised to fully implement provisions of article 371J, which INC had obtained for the region in 2013. Kharge also promised Rs. 5000 Crore per year for the region, filling vacant 50,000 Government job posts, creating of 1,00,000 private jobs, bringing AIIMS, IIT and IIM to the region and overall development of the region.
INC targeted the BJP for ignoring the largely backward Kalyana Karnataka region in the last four years and not providing enough funds for the region’s development.
