Kalaburagi: Neither Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy nor I have done politics on the basis of money. If so, would the Pancharatna Yatra have taken place? The Janata Jaladhare is run by people, not by money. We don’t need to do politics with money. JD (S) Supremo and Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda said that people are more important than money.
Speaking to media persons at the City airport, he said the JD(S) is not surviving on money but because of people. “If it is being run by money, Pancharatna Yatra, Janata Jaladhara and other activities cannot be carried out for years and no one is being invited paying money,” he said, adding that the opposition parties have nothing to blame and hence they are making allegations.
He also made it clear that when Janata Dal was in power last time, Rs. 25,000 Crore was waived off for farmers and not for money in the interest of the people and farmers.
