Kalaburagi: At the Afzalpur police station, an FIR has been lodged against nine individuals, with R D Patil, the mastermind behind the PSI scam, being the primary suspect. They are accused of attempting to use Bluetooth devices for cheating during an examination for FDA positions held by the Karnataka Examination Authority on Saturday.

Babu Chand Shaikh, Santosh Yalagi, and Akash were caught using a Bluetooth device for cheating during the AFDA examination at the examination center of Sri Sharana Basaveshwara University in Kalaburagi city. The exam hall supervisor apprehended them in the act and subsequently turned them over to the police. Additionally, a case has been registered against five individuals, including R D Patil, who aided and supplied the Bluetooth device to assist in the cheating.

R D Patil, recently released from jail due to his connection with the PSI scam, attempted deceptive actions during the KEA exam.
