Kalaburagi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the economic situation in the country is stable and good and the current tax collection in the country is Rs. 2 lakh crore. She made it clear that the economic condition of the country is not in shambles as alleged by the opposition parties and most importantly the Congress.
She was speaking after inaugurating an interaction programme of businessmen and investors organised by the BJP to mark the party’s election campaign at the KKCCI auditorium here on Wednesday April 26.
“Already Rs. 2 lakh crore of tax has been collected. The money collected is being donated to provide all the necessary Is Being basic amenities to the people of the country. This has also led to an upward trend in GDP,” she said.
