Kalaburagi: Assembly Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri has called upon the people to create awareness about the conscience campaign that his vote is not for sale for any reason.
He was speaking after presiding over an interactive programme on the need for reforms in the electoral system at Dr. S. M. Pandita Ranga Mandira here on Wednesday November 30. “Money, muscle power and caste power play an important role in elections. Therefore, choose the best among those who did not sell their votes, he said.
“If none of the people standing are found to be good, press for NOTA,” he asserted.
