Kalaburagi: Congress party’s Karnataka In-Charge Randeep Singh Surjewala has accused the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking away the right to education of poor children by cancelling scholarships given to poor children in the country.
Addressing a press conference at the Government Guest House in the City, he said, “What will happen to the children if the scholarships given to students of classes 1 to 8 are cancelled suddenly without any discussion? Questioning how they should get an education, he said, “This is a ploy of the BJP. Most importantly, such a bad decision has been taken because SC/ST and OBC children should not get education at all,” he said.
The BJP is playing with the lives of the people in a similar manner in the country, he added.
