Kalaburagi: BJP State General Secretary Ravi Kumar has alleged that Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda and other dignitaries were merely alleging that they were not invited to the unveiling ceremony of Kempegowda statue in Bengaluru.

Addressing a press conference, he said the Government has not forgotten any protocol. Invitations have been sent to all Former Chief Minister’s and Former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai himself spoke over the phone and invited HDD. However, it is not right to complain with jealousy, he said.

“However, it is not right that Revenue Minister R. Ashoka extended his hands across Nirmalananda Swamiji’s shoulder. Such a culture is not of the BJP. I don’t agree with what has happened. It was unfortunate that it happened,’ he stressed.
