Kalaburagi: Thousands of acres of Wakf land have been gobbled up when the Congress was in power in the State. Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said that he will start an investigation soon relating to this issue.
In Mahagaon Village of Kamalapura Taluk, Chief Minister launched the Jana Sankalpa Yatra and said that he had enough evidence that the Congress leaders have grabbed the Waqf property for themselves. He would soon initiate an order to investigate into this matter.
Congress has always decieved the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in favour of minorities. And thus did not contribute to the progress of education sector of Backward Classes. It is obvious that the industrial sector have been neglected. Therefore, we have under taken the Jana Sankalpa Yatra to see that the neglected classes’ welfare can be undertaken, he said.
