Koppal: Senior BJP Leader and ticket aspirant H. R. Channakeshava has appealed to the voters to ensure the victory of local candidates as Janardhana Reddy has already vitiated the election atmosphere in Ballari and now he wants to contest in Kalyana and North Karnataka including Gangavathi.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday January 5, Gali Janardhana Reddy, who has not contested in a single election so far, has formed a new Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha while blaming the BJP and expressed his willingness to contest from Gangavathi. He also talks of donating crores of rupees and this will spoil the atmosphere in the Constituency and even if people are demanding development work, a strategy is being devised to lure them. Reddy’s team is creating an atmosphere of money instead of development. The people of Gangavathi should be careful, he said and added Gangavathi should be developed holistically by making win people who want development.
“I am currently in the BJP and have asked the authorities to give me a ticket. If I don’t get it, I will contest as an independent candidate,” he stressed.
