Koppal: The City police have handed over the 40 gram gold chain that was stolen from the almirah of a house near Basavanna circle last year.
Last year in the month of August, the thieves had stolen a 40-gram gold mangalya chain from the almirah of Mallamma Ganda Shivappa Kheded’s house in Basavanna Circle of the City. A case was registered in this regard at the City Police Station.
The police eventually arrested the thieves and conducted an interrogation. The thieves confessed to committing the theft and selling it to a gold shop. The police investigated and seized the mangalya chain and handed it over to the owner as per the order of the court.
