Koppal: “I have heard that Former Minister Janardhana Reddy has formed a new party. I don’t see so much of the media. I have heard from some people that he has formed a new party. He is my closest friend, said Tourism Minister Anand Singh.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said that if he has come into politics today, Janardhan Reddy is the main reason. When I said I will not contest elections, he asked me to contest in 2008. He was a friend who gave me courage,” he said.
“In a democratic set-up, anyone can build a party. I can wish him good luck but nothing else can be done. His friendship with me will always be there. There is friendship even before the elections. My friendship will remain even after the elections. There is no rift in our friendship. I am not a big person who can convince Reddy to bring him back to the BJP. It will be taken care of by the superiors. In Reddy’s case, predictions cannot be made,” he said.
