Koppal: In the absence of Former Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy and local BJP Leaders and Workers from Gangavathi, Reddy’s wife Aruna Lakshmi Reddy along with priests and close friends from Ballari performed the ‘Griha Pravesh’ ceremony at Creative Layout on Kanakagiri Road in Gangavathi in the wee hours of Wednesday December 14.
At first, the cow was brought in and the pooja was performed. Later, a homa and havana were performed under the leadership of Ballari and Gangavathi priests.
Gali Janardhana Reddy, who was in Gangavathi for Hanumanmala Visarjana, said that BJP Leaders and Members of the Municipal Corporation had decided to visit prominent community leaders and temples, including Valmikis and Lingayats, and hence have a house in Gangavathi, thus undertake political and social service.
