Koppal: In a tragic incident, a youth was killed on the spot after being hit by a car near Hemagudda in Gangavathi Taluk of the District. Hanumesh (30) died on the spot when a car coming from behind hit him while he was returning to his Village after completing work on the Raichur-Koppal Highway on Monday January 2 at 4 pm.
Manasaiah (22) was seriously injured and is being treated at Gangavathi Government Hospital. MLA Paranna Munavalli visited the hospital and consoled the family members of the deceased and the injured.
DSP Ujjanakoppa, CPI Manjunath, Medical Officer Ishwar Savadi and others were present.
