Koppal: Congress MLA Amaregowda Patil Bayyapura said that he was disappointed that the current Union Budget has nullified the State Government’s proposal to nationalise the Krishna valley projects.
Speaking about the Budget, he said that the Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was nothing but a watershed one. In this budget, Rs 5,302 Crore has been allocated for Upper Bhadra Projects. The proposal has brought relief. Similarly, Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai had sent a proposal to the Centre on nationalisation of the Krishna Valley Project but the Centre did not pay any heed to it, he added.
The Budget has to be presented but it didn’t have needed effect, he expressed.
