Koppal: “Traders of other faiths should not undertake business during Hanumanmala Visarjana. The Taluk and District Administration have removed the banners and buntings put up by the Hindu Jagarana Vedike around Anegondi Hanumanahalli and Anjanadri saying that Hindus are for the Hindus by Hindus to the Hindus.

Assistant Commissioner and Special Officer of Anjanadri Temple Basavanappa Kalashetty said that those who put up the banners will be identified and a case will be registered. “People of other religions should not undertake business in Anjanadri. Hindus should do business in the place belonging to Hindus,” the banner stated.

A week ago, the Hindu Jagarana Vedike had appealed to the District Administration to evacuate people from other religions. On Tuesday November 29, banners and buntings were put up in and around Anjanadri to prevent people from other religions from doing business. Progressives, the CPI(M) and the Congress had criticised the Sangh Parivar’s actions. The District Administration immediately woke up and removed the banner put up by the Hindu Jagarana Vedike.
