Raichur: BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa on December 12 lost his pair of spectacles during Parivarthana Rally here in Raichur.
BSY who is touring the state ahead of assembly elections, was in Raichur for the party’s Parivarthana rally. BSY landed in trouble after he lost his pair of spectacles when the leaders on the dais garlanded him.
Yeddyurappa developed eye related problems after losing his spectacles. He was forced to stay indoors in a private hotel. Meanwhile, his close aide Santhosh was sent to Bengaluru using chopper service to get a new pair of glasses.
A party leader confirmed the matter and said, “There was a lot of commotion on stage when activists rushed onto the stage to garland BSY. When the garland was being taken off, the spectacles may have slipped off.”
