Raichur: Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should contest from Kolar first. Former Minister K. S. Eshwarappa said that the contest is all about victory and defeat.
Speaking to mediapersons in the City, he said that a real leader should develop the constituency he represents and go to the polls. “It is not the characteristic of a leader to change territories in this manner. He lost in Chamundeshwari. Now there is a fear of being defeated in Badami, so he is going to Kolar. D. K. Shivakumar, however, says that he is not aware of his candidature. In the Congress, there are fights between Kharge, Muniyappa, Siddaramaiah and D. K. Shivakumar. If this is the case, he will not be in the Opposition, let alone come to power,” he said.
“Siddaramaiah does not have the capacity to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They are under the illusion that they will be a big leader if they criticise Modi. But they don’t know that their criticism will back fire,” he said.
