Kalaburagi: Afzalpur taluk, once known for its tranquility, is now witnessing a series of murders along the Bhima River, alarming the local residents.
The victim, identified as 23-year-old Balbheem Sagara from Sidanur village, fell victim to this recent violence. Preliminary findings from the Revoor police indicate that the murder was driven by a longstanding feud.
The assailants, lying in wait for Balabheema’s return to his native village during the Dasara festival, ambushed him at night, fatally slashing his throat. The police have initiated a search to apprehend the culprits.
