Kalaburagi: In a disturbing incident that unfolded in Shanti Nagar, Kalaburagi, a beautician named Shahina Banu (35) was tragically murdered. Law enforcement authorities are actively conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the perpetrator responsible for her death.

Shahina Banu had pursued a career as a beautician and had previously experienced marital difficulties with her first husband, which led to their divorce. Subsequently, she remarried her second husband. However, she was brutally strangled and then fatally assaulted with a weapon. Relatives of the deceased have expressed concerns and raised suspicions regarding her second husband’s involvement in this tragic incident.

The Beautician was purportedly strangled to her demise with a dupatta bound around her neck and then brutally attacked with lethal weaponry..

Shahina Banu had previously been married to a man named Syed Jilani. They had a son but divorced due to differences between them. After her divorce from Syed Jilani, he married her sister-in-law. Shahina Banu subsequently married a man named Sheikh Haider from Mahibubnagar in Kalaburagi for the second time, and they had a family for five to six years. They have a daughter together.

However, recently, Sheikh Haider had left his wife (Shahina Banu). When he left, he had taken his daughter with him. Nevertheless, Shahina Banu, after filing a case in court, gained custody of her daughter and left her in the care of her mother. She lived as a single woman in Shanti Nagar, securing a house for herself, as informed by her deceased mother in a distant location.

Shahina Banu, who frequently visited her children and mother, met her son on October 20. At approximately 2 pm, she made a phone call to her mother. However, her phone was subsequently switched off. The discovery of her murder occurred when her mother returned home and found the distressing scene. Shahina Banu’s mother, Himama Bi, harbors suspicions that her second husband, Sheikh Haider, may be the perpetrator, possibly due to a custody dispute over their daughter.

In response to this tragic incident, Police Commissioner R. Chetan and DCP Kanika Sikriwal, along with other law enforcement officers, visited the location. Based on the statement provided by Himama B, the Ashok Nagar police have filed a case and are actively conducting an investigation.
