In a significant boost to educational infrastructure in Kampli constituency, MLA J.N. Ganesh has announced a substantial allocation of ₹80 crore. This funding is earmarked for the construction of government hostels catering to students from SC, ST, backward classes, and minority communities. The announcement underscores Ganesh’s commitment to improving educational facilities and accessibility in the region.

During a sports event for pre-degree college students held at the local girls’ government undergraduate college, Ganesh revealed the plans for these new projects. The highlight of his announcement was the establishment of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee student hostel at Hampadevanahalli. This facility is set to be constructed with an investment of ₹44 crore. The hostel aims to provide accommodation and support to students from underprivileged backgrounds, ensuring they have access to quality education without the added burden of living expenses.

In addition to the hostel project, Ganesh disclosed that he has submitted a proposal to Minister Sudhakar for the creation of a government first-class college in Emmiganoor village. This new college is part of Ganesh’s broader strategy to enhance educational opportunities in the Kampli region. The proposed college is expected to serve as a significant educational resource, offering a range of academic programmers and contributing to the local development.

The announcement was made at a taluk-level sports event, which saw participation from students across the region. The event, hosted at the government undergraduate college for girls, was attended by Principal Mohammad Shafi, Tehsildar Shivraj, and Municipal Councilor Hemavathi Purnachandra. The gathering provided a platform to discuss and celebrate the achievements of students while also highlighting the MLA’s plans for future educational advancements.

Ganesh’s initiatives reflect a proactive approach to addressing educational disparities and fostering academic growth in Kampli. By focusing on infrastructure improvements such as hostels and new educational institutions, the MLA aims to create a more conducive environment for students’ learning and development.

The allocation of ₹80 crore is a testament to the prioritization of educational progress in the constituency. It aligns with broader goals of enhancing access to education for all sections of society, particularly those who have historically faced barriers to higher education.

As these projects move forward, the community and stakeholders will be watching closely to see how these investments translate into tangible benefits for students. The development of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee student hostel and the proposed college are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future educational landscape of Kampli.
