CM Siddaramaiah Masterminded DK Suresh’s Defeat, Claims R Ashoka

R Ashoka

Kolar: Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly R Ashoka made an explosive statement on Friday, claiming that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah was behind Congress candidate DK Suresh’s defeat.

While addressing party workers during a protest in Kolar, Ashoka remembered the defeat of Home Minister G Parameshwara from Koratagere Assembly constituency in 2013. Like G Parameshwara was defeated then, now DK Suresh was defeated from Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency and it is all due to CM Siddaramaiah who was the mastermind behind this strategy, he claimed.

Ashoka claimed that DK Suresh was defeated so that his brother deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar should not ask for the Chief Minister’s post.

To safeguard his position, Siddaramaiah conspired and ensured that Suresh should fail in the election.
He attributed the recent statement of a Swamiji that CM Siddaramaiah should allow DK Shivakumar to run the state as part of Shivakumar’s plan.

He said the statement of Vokkaliga Swamiji Sri Chandrashekhar’s Swamiji was not just a statement out of love for Vokkaliga leader DK Shivakumar. Everyone knows who made Swamiji make a statement in favour of Shivakumar. Meanwhile, a voice is also being raised to appoint three deputy chief ministers just to counter DK Shivakumar and the government which is marred by internal conflicts of the leaders will fall on its own, he said.
