Koppal: To maintain peace during the upcoming Gauri Ganesha festival and Eid Milad celebrations, Koppal‘s Assistant Commissioner (AC) has ordered the deportation of three rowdies—Sachina Nimbalagundi, Sandeep Sanjeevappa, and Arbaj Khan Sardar Khan—to different districts. The decision aims to prevent potential communal tensions and disturbances in Gangavati Nagar.
The AC’s order is based on concerns that small-scale riots could escalate into larger communal conflicts, given the city’s religious sensitivity. The rowdies are suspected of engaging in activities that might disturb public peace or incite chaos during festival processions.
Under sections 54 and 55 of the Karnataka Police Act, the three individuals will be deported to Bidar, Chamarajanagar, and Kolar districts until September 30th. This action is intended to ensure public order and safety during the festive season.
