Lokayukta officials conducted simultaneous raids on the houses and factory of KIADB Additional Director CT Muddukumar on Friday. Muddukumar, who is currently working at Mineral Bhawan in Bangalore, had his properties searched by a team of officials led by Lokayukta DySP B. Umashankar, Ramakrishnaiah, and Inspectors Shivrudrappa Meti and Mahmud Salim.
The raids were carried out at seven places, including a house in Banashankari, a plastic bottle manufacturing plant in Antarsanahalli industrial area, a house in Chikkanayakanahalli town, a farmhouse in Shettikere Hobali Ranganathapura, a residential house in Nagarabhavi, and an office in Mineral Bhawan on Race Course Road. The officials conducted thorough searches and verified documents, although the details of the raids and the allegations against Muddukumar have not been disclosed yet.”
