Chikkamagaluru: Congress’ guarantee period in the country has already expired. In the meantime, Congressmen are going to give guarantee cards to the people. The guarantee card issued by those who do not have a guarantee has no value at all, said Home Minister Araga Jnanendra.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that the Congress had given a guarantee in 1999 as well. “But it failed to fulfill it. It was the Congress that crushed the poor. The Congress is credited with making a distinction between religions. The Congress was misleading the people by offering freebies in the name of power,” he said.
“The BJP is undertaking Jana Sankalpa Yatra from four corners of the State. The closing ceremony will be held at Davanagere on March 25. More than 10 lakh people will participate in it. The Jana Sankalpa Yatra is being organised to make people aware of the achievements of the BJP’s double engine Government at the Centre and in the State. BJP is not a party of the haves,” he said.
