Chikkamagaluru: Police arrested the absconding accused in connection with the suicide case of a minor girl in Kalasa reportedly due to love failure.
Kudremukh Police arrested the suspect, Nitesh, a Hindu activist on Tuesday January 17 at Chikkamagaluru Bus Station.
Both the accused and the victim, who was 17 years old, were reportedly in love. The girl consumed poison on January 10 following a disagreement. On January 14, she passed away at a hospital in the City after not responding to treatment.
The girl allegedly named Nitesh as the one who abetted her death on her deathbed, and after she passed away, police filed a case against him. Since then, Nitesh went missing.
