Chikkamagaluru: Mudigere BJP MLA M. P. Kumaraswamy has been facing difficulties and now he fears arrest. A court of people’s representatives on Thursday March 30 issued a non-bailable warrant in a cheque bounce case.

Chikkamagaluru Superintendent of Police (SP) Uma Prashanth has been issued a notice to arrest Kumaraswamy and produce him before the court. An arrest warrant was issued against him for non-payment of dues within 30 days and the people’s court sentenced him to four years in jail in a cheque bounce case.

The court has asked him to refund the amount within 30 days.
