Chikkamagaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D. K. Shivakumar hits back at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its tweet that those who came from Tihar jyail will be promoted to the post of State President, saying that he was put in jail as a political move and that he had not indulged in any corruption.
“There is no rowdy-sheeter case against me. Former Chief Minister B. S. Yadiyurappa has gone to jail. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also gone to jail. I have gone to jail. I have been jailed as a political move and not indulged in corruption, he said.
“There is a big rodent lying on their plate, let them take care of it first and it is the BJP which is going to sell the right to vote,” he added.
