Chikkamagaluru: Urban Development Minister and District In-charge Minister Byrathi Basavaraj said that strict instructions have been issued to the concerned department to complete the AMRUT drinking water project by the end of January and sewerage works by March end.
Addressing a press conference at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Auditorium here on Wednesday January 4, he warned that if the work is not completed during this period, the concerned works’ contractors will be blacklisted and a criminal case will be registered.
The Amrut drinking water project has been given 10 to 12 days more time than the earlier deadline for completion. He said time has been given till Marchend to complete the sewerage work.
