Chikkamagaluru: Continuing with the search for the body of H. Sharath, which was dumped at Charmadi Ghat for the past three days, the police on Thursday January 5 conducted a search operation and then left for Bengaluru without the body and with the accused who they got along with them to help search the body.
For three days, Cubbon Park and Ashokanagar Police conducted an inch-by-inch search operation from Charmadi Annappa Swamy Temple and the forest areas of Somanakadu and Dakshina Kannada limits. Social activists from Mudigere and locals too assisted to conduct operation.
However, despite three-day search, Police unable to find the body left for Bengaluru on Thursday.
