Chikkamagaluru: The operation to capture an elephant was put on hold after Dasara elephant Abhimanyu fell sick.
The team, sent out to capture an elephant that had wandered into the village, had Abhimanyu and two other trained elephants.
The operation, however, was put on hold when the other two elephants, Ajay and Gopalaswami, entered musth and Abhimanyu became ill.
