Chikkamagaluru: A model Ambedkar Bhavan will be constructed in the district, said MLA C. T. Ravi.
Addressing an SC Morcha Meeting at the BJP office in the City, he said that development works are being given first priority and instead of fighting between castes, we are working together. Opposition parties are also encouraging development works, and the BJP party is working hard for the development of all sections of the society, he said.
“BJP party workers should ask Congressmen a few questions, which party defeated Ambedkar twice in the 1952, and 1954 elections. Why Ambedkar was not awarded the Bharat Ratna, the day November 26 was known as Law Day, the day of the Constitution after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister was given the new name, Gaurav Diwas, he said.
The name was given by the Bharatiya Janata Party. Why didn’t you give six feet of land for Ambedkar in Delhi, he asked.
