Chikkamagaluru: As the Assembly Election is approaching, there have been instances of people being lured by giving gifts. The voters of Mudigere Reserved Constituency in District too are getting a variety of gifts.
Nayana Motamma, daughter of Former Minister Motamma and a Congress ticket aspirant, is doing gift politics to woo voters. In order to win the hearts of the voters, rangoli competitions were organised at the Village level for women and sarees, book as well as pens were distributed.
At the village level, she organised a programme and gifted sarees, pens and books to school children. Nayana, who has been organising the event for the past one month, has been doing a variety of gimmick to woo the voters.
