Chikkamagaluru: Energy, Kannada and Culture Minister Sunil Kumar said that the State Government is committed to Hindutva and is working according to the sentiments of Hindus.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said that Hindu priests should be appointed for the worship of Dattatreya’s feet. Pujas should be performed throughout the year. It has been a demand of all of us, including Hindu organisations, for many years that the Trikala puja should be performed, he added.

“The BJP Government has tried to fulfil the sentiments of lakhs of Hindus by appointing Hindu priests. The State Government is committed to fulfilling the demand of Hindus. Full-time priests will be appointed in a phased manner. There is no need to worry that someone is opposing it, Nanda
deepa should be lighted at the Muzrai Temple,” he said.
