Mudigere: A tragic accident occurred in Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district on Saturday, claiming the life of a motorcyclist, Vishvendra (43), who was instantly killed when a speeding gas tanker collided with him near Bidarahalli bus depot.
Vishvendra succumbed to his injuries on the spot after being struck by the lorry’s wheel. Lakshmi, who was a passenger on the same motorcycle traveling along, suffered a leg fracture and was promptly transported to a hospital in Mangaluru. Both victims are residents of Kalkere village near Jayapura in Koppa taluk.
