SP Annamalai and team cracks murder case, arrests five

Chikkamagaluru: SP Annamalai led team has successfully nabbed culprits behind murder case over property issue here in Keremakki village under Mallandur station limits.

It may be recalled that on October 17, Stephen Abraham (51) from Keremakki village was murdered when he was on his way to coffee farm along with his wife. The accused Rajaram Gowda, his wife Mamatha, workers Murugesh and his wife Parvathy and Sanjeeva waylaid Stephen and attacked with lethal weapons. When Stephen’s wife Shaira tried to stop them, the accused attacked her too. While Stephen died on the spot, his wife suffered serious injuries.

SP Annamalai led team has recovered weapons used for the murder, a mobile phone, a jeep and a gold chain from the arrested.

Stephen Abraham and Rajaramegowda had rivalry over road between their farms from last 10 years.
