Speaking on the occasion, Vidyunlatha, Temple Executive Officer said that it was decided at a preliminary meeting to celebrate the temple festival in a simple manner within the temple and hence on both the days of the car festival, the religious rituals conducted in a traditional will be inside the temple and the public is prohibited to participate in the same. Further, it has been made mandatory that everyone who takes part in the puja rituals needs to get vaccinated and Covid test, she added.

As decided in the preliminary meeting, the temple staff, the agamikas, addegars, the chariot staff, nadapatels, the Quran-reciters, journalists, staff on duty and five men on temple service were vaccinated, she informed.
