Hassan: In a rare incident, a passenger, mobile phone left by a passenger in a KSRTC bus, was returned by the transport staff at Channarayapattana Bus Stand in Hassan Division.
The Channarayapattana – Shravanabelagola Bus left Channarayapattana on January 19. Somesh, a native of Bastihalli, was travelling in the bus. As soon as the bus arrived at Bastihalli Bus Stand, he left behind a smartphone worth Rs. 15000 and got down.
Since the bus was supposed to go to Shravanabelagola, Jagat Kumar, the conductor of the bus who came to Shravanabelagola, received a phone worth Rs. 15,000.
The driver along with Harish handed over the mobile phone to Division Manager Shaziya Bhanu. The passenger who reached home after sometime noticed that he did not have his mobile phone and searched for it. When he made a call on his mobile phone, the unit manager informed him about the mobile and asked him to come to the unit and take it. When passenger reached, it was handed over to him.
