Hassan: Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Monday made it clear that there is no change in his stand on the announcement of JDS candidate for hassan assembly constituency.
“I have already made it clear several times about the candidate from Hassan assembly constituency and i will give a ticket to a general functionary,” he said, adding that his stand on the issue will never change.
He said the JDS has the strength to win by giving tickets to its loyal workers and the same is the wish of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda.
Responding to a question on whether YSV Datta would join the JDS again, Kumaraswamy said, “We are a small party he is going to join the international party.”

Even as the ticket distribution confusion continues, HD Revanna and Bhavani Revanna are continuing their election campaign in the constituency.
Even after several rounds of talks and stories, there has been repeated pressure from Revanna’s family to give ticket to Bhavani Revanna in Hassan assembly constituency. The JDS ticket has already been finalised for Swaroop. It remains to be seen how the talk is being discussed on social media and in political circles will benefit the JDS or impact the elections.
