Hassan: All India Congres Committee General Secretary and State In-Charge Randeep Singh Surjewala has lashed out at Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai saying that he is known as a head of 40% Government during his tour.

Inaugurating a meeting of Congress Leaders and Workers at a private resort on the outskirts of the City and distributing the guarantee card, he said, “We have given a guarantee card which will be implemented by all parties in the Country in the coming days. Karnataka is known for its 40% commission Government. I get to hear it wherever I go,” he said.

“Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is welcomed as the head of 40% Government from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. This is not what the Congress party is alleging but what Contractors’ Association has written a letter in this regard. He alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to Karnataka eight times in this regard but had not answered on the allegations of corruption,” he said.

Belagavi Contractor Santosh Patil dies by suicide without paying commission. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not go to the house of a BJP worker and console him. However, Siddaramaiah, D. K. Shivakumar and Satish Jarakiholi’s family met his father, wife and children and offered condolences. The BJP’s devil has finally killed their workers. Rajendra died by suicide in Tumakuru but BJP leaders did not go there. At that time, D. K. Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, Ramalinga Reddy had visited the families of those who died by suicide. There was anxiety about the coming days among these families,” he noted.

“The BJP MLAs were caught red-handed while taking bribes. Mysore Sandal soap is steeped in corruption. We saw on TV that in BJP MLA’s house Rs. 6 Crore in cash is found. K. R. Puram Circle Inspector died by suicide that his situation was such that lakhs of rupees should be paid for a transfer. Rupsa Sangathan wrote a letter on corruption, Karnataka Lingeswara Swamiji alleged but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken any action,” he said.

“The appointment of a Police Sub-Inspector has been sold for Rs. 80 Lakh and one Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) is in jail and the money has not gone to just to the ADGP but also to then Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Former Chief Minister Yediyurappa and Home Minister Araga Jnanendra. However no one will investigate this,” he said.
