Hassan: JD (S) Leader K. M. Rajegowda said, “I am not anybody’s projected candidate. I will contest only if everyone in the JD (S) agrees. But there are statements about me, while I am not against anyone, hee and added hat he will campaign for a candidate who is not nominated in the party.
Speaking to the mediapersons at his residence near Kuvempunagara, he said that there have been different kinds of statements about the selection of candidates for Hassan Constituency, especially about me, on the one hand, and against Revanna’s candidate. “But I am not against anyone,” he said.
He said, “All I can say now is that I am ready to work for any candidate from JD (S) in Hassan Constituency. I am not going to campaign for anyone till the JD (S) announces the official candidate for the elections. We have to be united in our party. I want to go together. A few days ago, H. D. Revanna came to our house, and came up with the offer of a seat and discussed it with me. The three of us will decide unitedly. My name has also been proposed,” he said. If everyone in the JD (S) agrees and my name comes up, I will contest. I will campaign for anyone whose name is suggested again,” he said.
