Bengaluru: The Hasanamba temple in Hassan city is opened for devotees only once in a year. Every year lakhs of devotees from across South India used to visit the temple and take darshan. However, this year, this temple reopening ceremony will also be a low key affair. Adding to this, the Hassan district administration has decided to allow only online darshan given the COVID19 situation in the state.
This year the temple will be kept open between November 5 and 17. However, there will not be any major events. The devotees will be provided darshan online.
DC R Girish explained, “The car festival will also be a low key affair. Due to the COVID 19 fear, we can’t hold any event.”
